Support for your growing family
I draw extensively from my Public Health training and over a decade of leadership roles throughout the healthcare industry. In my doula work I bring with me a broad expertise in the healthcare delivery system, reproductive health equity, and integrated health models. Before becoming a doula, I was the Executive Director of the Tufts Medicine community primary care practices, and also worked on the Strategy & Growth team developing strategic plans and growth initiatives across the Tufts Medicine system.
It was a blend of my own lived experience during my childbearing years and my passion for reproductive rights in combination with my deep understanding of the very real gaps in the care continuum that brought me to train as a postpartum doula and serve burgeoning families in my community. In addition to being a Certified Postpartum Doula, I have further training in lactation counseling, perinatal mental health, sleep conditioning, and trauma-informed care for postpartum clients.
On a personal level, I enjoy an active life with my husband, James, and our three children in Cambridge, MA. Together we enjoy spending time outdoors - biking, scooting and walking around the city, making and eating good food with friends and family, and when possible, going to the beach. Summer is easily my favorite and most joyful season of the year.
